Love Your Neighbor as Yourself

We must love God above all and next to Him is to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We must love ourselves because God loved us first. And that love was so much that He gave His one and only Son for us. ( John 3:16 , 1 John 3:16-18 , Gen. 1:26-27 , Psalm 8:4-5 , 1 Cor. 6:3 )

When Typhoon Ondoy ravaged the country last month , everyone witnessed its devastating aftermath. The lives that were lost , the properties that were destroyed and the houses that were washed away by the floods were in staggering proportion. One couldn't help but be heartbroken. One couldn't help but be moved to tears. It was one of those times that you forget about yourself and think "What can I do to help?" Thus , it was almost as spontaneous as that thought that we began texting , writing and e-mailing friends , relatives and even acquaintances for a cause. We were urged to do something about the plight of the homeless and the victims of the typhoon. We asked for help.

Thank God because there were good hearted individuals who understood and felt the heart of God. They realized that they just don't live for themselves but for others too. Their unselfishness led them to extend help in the humblest means they can. God bless their generous hearts!

The ff. are biblical principles that tell us - we were meant to care for others. In so doing , we show God's love to them.

1. Genesis 4:9 - Then the Lord said to Cain ,"Where is you brother Abel?"
"I don't know'" he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?"

God expects each one of us to take care of our brethren.

2. Exodus 20:17 - "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your
neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant... or anything
that
belongs to your neighbor."

We should not steal from others. It is one of God's Great Commandments.

3. Matthew 25 : 31-46 - "...I tell you the truth whatever you did for one of the leats of these
brothers of mine , you did for me."

God wants us to realize this truth - every good thing we do for others , we are doing it to Him.

4. Genesis 9:5-6 - "... I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man."

Man was created in the image and likeness of God. Whoever puts and end to this God-given life is accountable to God.

5. Ezekiel 33:1-6 , 7-20 - "Son of man , speak to your countrymen and say to them :'When I bring a sword against the land , and the people of the land choose one of their own man and make him their watchman..., but if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people ...I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood."

The prophet Ezekiel was a watchman over the house of Israel. So are we . It is
our responsibility to rebuke the erring brethren or warn them of impending destruction. That is showing true love and concern for them.

6. John 10:10 - "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy ; I have come that they may have life and and have it to the full."

Just as God through His Son , Jesus Christ gave His life to protect His children and provide a prosperous and victorious life to them , so are we. We must protect our "neighbors". Bless them; give our lives or possessions to them. That is the greatest expression of love.

7. 2 Corinthians 5:17-20 - "...All this is from God who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation..."

God has committed to us the responsibility of reconciling man who has gone astray from his Creator , back to Him. We are ambassadors of Christ who are tasked to proclaim the message of hope and God's love to all.

1 John 4:18 - " There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love."

Let us not be afraid to love. Let us not be afraid to show this love. When the least of our brethren need our help , it is the best opportunity to put our faith and love into action!

God has chosen You!

2 Timothy 2:2
"And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses , the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."

God wants you to be blessed , promoted and to be used by God mightily , effectively in this final hour. In the Bible , there is a man called , Timothy. Paul wanted him to be his successor. But some things are hindering Timothy to accept his promotion. First , his being young. But , Paul said , " Let no man despise your youth... "
(1 Timothy 4:12) Second , his being shy or timid . But Paul said , "For God hat not given us the spirit of fear , but of power , and of love , and of sound mind."
(2 Timothy 1:7) Third , his being not a pure Jew like Paul. Timothy's mother was a Jew and his father was Greek (Acts 16:3 , Phil. 3:4-6). And lastly , his weak stomach
( 1Timothy 5:23) . It is very clear that despite of these things that Timothy might have cosidered hindrances to his promotion , he was still chosen by God and Paul to be his successor. Paul called him a true son in faith , a brother in the Lord and a son in faith who is loyal to God and to him (1 Timothy 1:2 , 2 Timothy 1:5). Timothy's calling was irreversible.

Like Timothy , there are things in your life that you consider your weaknessess or disabilities. You always look at the weak areas of your lives. You magnify your shortcomings. These make you think that you are not qualified for promotions. These are also the things that hinder you to prosper. But , the great news is , despite of these so called weaknessess, God has chosen you and destined you to be blessed and be used by Him mightily , effectively in this final hour. God saw something in you that , He planned for you to be placed in a great position. Whether you recognize it or not , you have unique talents given by God. And God will surely help you and give you His anointing to do the task He entrusted to you.

Accept the challenge and accept the high position God intended for you. You must believe in God and in yourself. God wants you to excel in your studies or in the field you are in right now. You are destined for victory , blessing , promotion and success. You are meant to receive honors , medals and rewards .You are meant to be His instrument ; to be used by Him mightily , effectively in this final hour , for His Glory. You are created in His own image and likeness. You are chosen by God and has unique capabilities to carry out His will. And as He has willed it in your life , you will surely finish it.

"Ito ang Sabi ng Panginoon" , the Kingdom of Jesus Fellowship's Radio Ministry celebrated its victorious 16th year anniversary last June 28, 2009 at the Quezon City Hall Covered Walk Entrance. It was one memorable and anointed service that left everyone in attendance touched by the presence of God. It was a day of thanksgiving and celebration for God's faithfulness and goodness throughout the radio ministry's continuous existence.

History

Since its initial one hour broadcast in June , 1993 , "Ito ang Sabi ng Panginoon" , has come a long way to , it now being broadcast daily from 8-9 PM at DZXQ 1350 Khz AM Band . God has continued to raise good hearted people to support this ministry. It is not to say that there were no supporters who have come and gone , but , it is a testament to the fact that when people sometimes fail , God will never ever fail. Where He has given the vision , He indeed gives the provision. Today , "Ito ang Sabi ng Panginoon" , does its end time task of reaching out to many souls ; saving them , healing them and delivering them.

Through the life of God's servant , Ricardo D. Carillo , the messages preached daily in the air waves , reached Filipino homes and blessed and brought hope to its listeners. Countless testimonies have been accumulated throughout the years.

Nanay Cora Fabregar attributes her salvation and her whole family thru the preaching messages she heard on "Ito ang Sabi ng Panginoon".

Sister Zenaida Santos testifies that the miraculous healing of her myoma came when she started listening to "Ito ang Sabi ng Panginoon" . As a consequence , she attended a healing crusade by the Kingdom of Jesus Fellowship , announced on the radio and the rest is history...

Pastor Vangie-Suba Sagum , used to be a backsliding Christian worker. Through "Ito ang Sabi ng Panginoon" , her heart was restored to the Lord and has since then become a dedicated minister of the Gospel.

What It Does Today

Today , the radio program "Ito ang Sabi ng Panginoon" , continue to do its mandate of giving the voice and messages of God to the nation and to its leaders , aiming just like the prophets of old , to bring this nation to the righteousness and will of God.

For those who are in need of healing , comfort , prosperity and direction from God , the program - "Ito ang Sabi ng Panginoon" , continues to be the answer to prayers as it reaches out to the Filipino people through its daily broadcast.

What It Hopes To Do in the Future

In the future , "Ito ang Sabi ng Panginoon", will continue to give hope to those who are weary and loaded with problems. It will provide healing to to those who are physically afflicted. It will bring salvation to those who have no assurance of being saved. It will bring correction to people who are not doing the perfect will of God. It will convict people who have more , to share what they have with the less fortunate. It will teach people to live in such a way that they will be productive citizens thereby , becoming helpful and contributory to the progress of this country. In these ways , this humble ministry will be doing its share in making a difference in this nation and the world we live in.

Intimacy with God and with each other : A Family Conference Like No Other

God cares for every person. But just as He cares for every single person , so does He care for families. Thus , on April 9 - 11, 2009 , the Kingdom of Jesus Fellowship held its 3-day church camp , especially devoted to strenghtening family bonds and ties , renewing commitment to God and to each other as well as receiving a fresh anointing and revelation from the Holy Spirit. They were three awesome days of power , glory and meaningful fellowship with God and each other.

On the first day of the family conference , God poured out His sweet but powerful presence , right at the outset of the praise and worship celebration. His presence was ushered in by the heartfelt worship of His people. Those who attended the event at the Green Nature Resort , San Mateo Rizal , were touched by God's presence that they began weeping , crying and communing with God in a very special way. At the altar call , as the man of God - Ricardo D. Carillo , laid hands on those who responded to the call of God , they were slain in the Holy Spirit and were visibly touched by God's awesome power. They would later testify that they were recharged spiritually and have been given a deep hunger to be closer to God and to their loved ones.

Bro. Neil and Sis.Mely Agripa testified that the message they have heard in the conference paved the way for forgiveness and reconciliation in their family. The man of God , Ricardo D. Carillo , prophesied that - "conflicts in the family will be solved". Instantly , God fulfilled His word in their family. According to their testimony , the father and the eldest daughter have not been talking to each other ,for 4 long years. Bitterness and resentments have reigned in their hearts. But because of God's miracle working ways , they have learned to forgive and let go of all the past behind. Truly , God is a healer of relationships.

Pastor Mercy Tutanes , a praise and worship minister , testified that God consumed her with His awesome presence , that even after she already went home , God's presence continued to overwhelm her. She can't contain it enough that she describes it as the "high" caused by the overdose of the Holy Spirit. "It's an unforgettable , unbelievable experience " , she gladly says.

When the man of God preached the message about Martha and Mary (Luke 10:38-42) , it was a life changing revelation. Nobody was exempted from the dealing of God. God wants us to choose the better part , just like Mary did. She sat at the Lord's feet listening to what He said(Luke 10:39). For this , the Lord commended and was pleased with her. What she has done will never be taken away from her.(Luke 10:42)

But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made (Luke 10:40).
Martha was a type of a busy Christian. Just like today , many assume that being busy with the ministry is the same as being busy with the Lord. It's an age-old deception by the devil. The truth is , God wants us to spend a special moment with Him everyday of our lives. God is more pleased with us seeking to be more intimate with Him , knowing Him through His Word , worshipping Him and loving Him just like what Mary did.

The 3-day conference was ended by the anointing of oil. Personal prophecies were delivered to those whom God has a special revelation. God has brought families closer to Him and to each other. God's Victory was declared. And indeed , God's purpose and will was achieved.

OUR FAMILIES HAVE A DESTINY IN JESUS CHRIST!!!

TO HIM ALONE BE THE GLORY!!!!

Year-end Thanksgiving Celebration

The Year-end Thanksgiving celebration was held last December 27, 2008 at the Seminar Hall of Quezon Memorial Circle. It was an event that was attended by the brethren of Kingdom of Jesus Fellowship from Metro Manila and provincial outreaches to celebrate the goodness of God for the year that has passed. Indeed , more than it being an annual tradition , there were a lot of great things that God has done that are worth celebrating. Furthermore , God deserved the praise and thanksgiving

First , the past year of 2008 , ushered in a fulfillment of God's prohecy. God , through His servant , Ricardo D. Carillo , spoke at the advent of 2008 , that the year would be a year of "overflowing unlimited blessings and promotions" for those whose lives are obedient and in tune with the will of God . And true enough , it came to pass. For many , who heeded God's voice , life became better. Some were able to hold amounts of money , way larger than their previous possessions. God poured out His blessings to the faithful.

Second , the past year of 2008 , ushered in a sense of higher and deeper commitment , trust and obedience to God in terms of giving. Responding to the call for a higher kind of giving , that is the "first fruits" (Nehemiah 10:35 ; Ezekiel 44:30 ; Proverbs 3:9-10), we have witnessed true Christians who were willing to obey God at whatever cost. They willingly and sacrificially gave a whole month of their salary for God's cause. It was such an encouragement to find people in these times who are willing to obey and sacrifice everything for the cause of the Gospel. It was like in the days in the Book of Acts when the followers of Jesus Christ laid everything at the apostle's feet.(Acts 4:34-35)

Case in point : Nanay Cora Fabregar , as she is known to everyone is a 65 year old woman , who received her 18 months pension after a long wait . The moment she received that money , with out a doubt in her mind , she gave everything to the Lord. If Mary of Bethany , gave a year's wage to Jesus in the Bible times , this woman in this modern times , gave much more. What a faith! What a commitment! What obedience - this old woman have!

Third , in the year 2008 , the radio ministry of Kingdom of Jesus Fellowship - "Ito ang Sabi ng Panginoon" , went airing everyday from Monday to Saturday. From its humble beginning of airing once a week , the radio ministry went full blast , reaching more souls for Jesus Christ. Furthermore , it got an unprecedented listeners' feedback through text messages.

We can go on and on , and this space would never be enough to write all the great things that God has done in the ministry and in the lives of those God has called to be part of this ministry. It is not to say that there were no trials and struggles . But , through it all , Victory was promised and was a reality. (1 Corinthians 15:57)

In celebration of victory , the brethren gave gifts among themselves. This gesture echoed what God's people did in the book of Esther , when God gave them victory against their enemies. (Esther 9:22) Fun games for the children , youth and couples were also held. Truly , it was such a day of wonderful fellowship and celebration. And we only have God to thank for.

1 Corinthians 15:57

" But thanks be to God , which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
